sir im aworker here in hongkong under supplementary labour scheme..recently my company informed us that they will prematurely terminate our contract because our project is finish but still i have 5 months remaining in my visa..i tried to apply for another job eventually they wanted to hire me but the problem is my visa they my visa is exclusive and cannot transfer to another company or change post..my question is can i apply for a change of visa status or extension visa to be able to apply for another job..is there anyway that i can find an alternative job..thank you

Sorry – no, there’s nothing you can do. The SLS is a standalone programme and you cannot apply to change your status from it.
