Over the last 20 years or so I have coined a number of phrases in Hong Kong immigration parlance.
In this short video, I discuss the One Year Rule as it applies to PRC nationals applicants  for resident visa status in Hong Kong.

What does the ImmD use for proof of the PRC national living outside of China for 1 year? Do visits back to the Mainland for say 1 week restart this 1 year clock? does the Mainlander need to register with the PRC government that they are leaving China?
