The Power of Free… What Josh Steimle Says About Video Cha Cha

Posted by / in Musing, Visa Geeza TV / 2 responses

On Thursday this week, I’m giving the first of seven talks on the Power of Free at the Paperclip Startup Academy in Sheung Wan which follow up on the overview Smart Talk at the Cyberport  I gave 10 days ago.

In this series of talks I will be explaining how sharing and generosity is the currency of the Connection Economy and the entrepreneur who understands this can be successful by following a simple formula: just give, be helpful, solve problems, answer questions.

Following this ethos, this is what Forbes Contributor, Journalist, Blogger, Entrepreneur and all round good guy Josh Steimle had to say about our video production company, Video Cha Cha, for sponsoring StartupGrindHK.

Hong Kong Visas for Same Sex Partners – A Practical Guide

Posted by / in Musing / No responses

This video sets out the practicalities for same sex partners in securing the permission of ImmD to join their significant other in Hong Kong.

On March 21, 2014 I gave a presentation at the Chinese Club entitled Business Immigration to Hong Kong – A Practical Guide.

In this section of the talk, I cover the ground in considerable detail as to how you go about applying for a prolonged visitor visa.

Free – A Revolutionary Business Model… Visa Geeza Speaks… Built In

Posted by / in Musing, Visa Geeza TV / No responses

If lifelong learning is good enough for Charlie Munger, then it’s good enough for me.

These last 4 years Martyn and I have learned a great deal as we finally figured out how the modern internet works and have strived to implement lessons learned into our business model as soon as we experienced them.

Right from the outset, however, we knew that if we wanted to build a business based on connection, sharing and generosity these would have to be hard wired into our proposition.

I will be carrying this discussion further next month at Cyberport when I will be giving a Smart Talk there entitled Free – A Revolutionary Business Model.

If you’re interested in hearing more about how our business model is constructed come along on Friday, October 10 and have a listen and a chat.

More info below (gotta love those Cyberport graphic design skills!)

Smart Talk

I’ll then share a lot more at the Paperclip Startup Academy starting on October 23 when I break down our business model into its 7 constituent parts with a series of 45 minute talks entitled The Power of Free.

The first talk, naturally enough, is called The Connection Economy and the series is, as you’d expect, 100% free to attend.

Hope to see you there!
