If
there has been no negative change in your business circumstances
since your visa was first issued or last extended OR if your
last extension/first approval was not granted subject to a Business
Review, then getting your visa extended is really just an administrative
exercise (for both you and your dependants).
You
need to start preparing your application paperwork 35-40 days
before your visa is set to expire.
You use forms ID91, ID481A and ID481B.
Follow
the guidance on the Hong Kong Visa Extension Kit and submit
your application 30 days before your visa expires.
You can choose to start your application entirely online or
submit it in person but book your appointment via the web.
Alternatively
you can just walk in to the 5th FLOOR of Immigration Tower without
an appointment but you might have to wait in this case or even
come back on another day if the quota for the day is full.
Whichever
process you decide to adopt, you simply follow STEP 1 through
STEP 5 above using the templates, flowcharts and guidance contained
in the Hong Kong Visa Extension Kit.
*If there has been a change in your circumstances
OR your business was indicated as being subject to Business Review,
please submit a question to the Hong Kong Visa Geeza Blog
and I will PodCast you an answer within 24 hours.
